The work was located in the heart of the municipality and involved repairing Route 216 and Route 275, along with inception work for six new adjacent streets. It included landscaping, roadway development, installation of drains, water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, combined sewers, storm sewers, traffic lights, sidewalks and kerbs, as well as management of contaminated soil and marking.
Groupe Conseil CHG’s role was to oversee the work in accordance with the plans and specifications, make sure the project was completed on time and on budget, monitor the work and take responsibility for its completion, from start to closure.
The Municipality of Sainte-Marguerite and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) were also involved in the project.
