For the last three years, the City of Québec has commissioned Groupe Conseil CHG to oversee its massive asphalting operation. In 2018, lots 2, 3 and 4 were entrusted to Groupe Conseil CHG’s team of professionals. The work on lot 2 included interventions on the main roads and collector roads in the city’s various neighbourhoods, whereas lots 3 and 4 involved bordering streets. In all, work was performed on more than 175 streets.
The commission covered the maintenance, repair or replacement of paving on the streets concerned, using methods including structural reinforcement, overlaying and installation of a surface or correction course. Surface infrastructure rehabilitation program work and levelling was also carried out.
Groupe Conseil CHG was responsible for overall design validation and supervision of the work, including quality control and project closure.
